Our restaurant

The restaurant is situated in the centre of Bologna, near the station and Piazza Maggiore and 15 minutes far from Bologna airport

In 1959 Luciano, the famous "sommelier", turned an old carpenter's shop, located in Bologna historical centre, into a place carrying his own name, which was both a roast meat shop and a restaurant.
Even if fourty years have passed, Luciano's still welcomes those who love good food under the same sign-board, in a warm and cosy place furnished in liberty style.

The restaurant and the "Unione of Buon Ricordo"

"The flavors of italian cooking and the colors of Vietri crafts"

These flavors are prepared in the 110 kitchens of associated restaurants which since 1964 to today, from Valle d'Aosta to Sicily, from Friuli Venezia Giulia to Sardinia, have designed a map for Italian eating and drinking and created the model for the hospitality of Buon Ricordo.

A touristic-cultural-gastronomic route whose stops regard revived and revised typical customs which represent as many elements of the different realities of an identical gastronomic culture and the expression of a common history of banquets and relationships.

A souvenir in remembrance of this occasion: a handpainted plate with the lively and cheerful colors of Vietri ceramics which each restaurant will give to those who have eaten the culinary specialities dedicated to the Buon Ricordo.

The colors and designs which the ceramic plates of Vietri are painted with, symbolically recal the specialities of Buon Ricordo restaurant. The colors and designs are an expression and symbol of a handcraft tradition whose history officially began in the XV-century and whose unchanged skill continues even today.
